Dragon Ball Z Budokai (Sony PlayStation 2, 2002)

This game is the first of many many budokai games in English. I wouldnt tell anyone that this is a game not to play i would make them play it. If they were a dbz fan this game appeals in that the story mode does justice to the series tenfold. With it almost feeling like you are watching the episode they have the cut scenes redone with 3d models. It only goes up to the cell saga so people who would buy this now dont expect to go too far. The graphics are appropriate for its time and the game is great ESPECIALLY the story mode i almost couldnt believe how accurate it was compared to the other games.

The character selection in particular includes just about every character you could imagine from the start of the Saiyan Saga to the end of the Cell Games and boasts 23 characters in all. This item was purchased for my 8 yr. old son. He enjoys this type of video play and it was listed at an affordable price. He has spent hours playing alone and now has something new to share when his friends come to visit. I know nothing about these games and can therefore can not provide a review except to say that my son it very happy with them. We will purchase others in the future.

This game seems to be a must for Pokemon fans. My son is playing this game every chance he gets. It is a game that my two sons can take turns playing & spend time together.

I know that the game it is the first. I played it for hours. But if you are a Dragon Ball Z fan you will see that the game lost some ideas of the fighting style of the Dragon Ball Universe. If you are a regular player this game is for you the graphics are good and the story is great. The Story is from the Saiyans Saga to the Cell Saga. Good game and a classic. Try it or make it a gift for little kids.
