A+ For 102 Dalmations!
Created: 21/03/08
This DVD is loved by my whole family, but for some reason it is hard to find. We spent a whole month tracking down a used copy. It was worth it.
We love the slapstick comedy with the classic actors Glenn Close as Cruella De Ville and Gerard Depardieu as the furrier, La Pelt. Ioan Gruffudd of Fantastic4 fame is a pleasure to watch as the lovable dog shelter owner who is struggling to keep stray dogs off the street. Eric Idle from Monte Python is hilarious as the voice of Waddlesworth the macaw who believes he is a Rottweiler. There is so much more to this movie than just cute puppies. There are great actors, too. It's good clean fun for the whole family.

102 dalmations is hysterically funny. It is about Oddball a dalmation who doesn't have spots and goes looking everywhere for them. Cruella de Ville is supposed to be rehabilitated and gets out of the hospital. She gets involved with a pet store owner and the results are both tragic and comic. This is very much a family movie. You will laugh until you cry when you watch it.

i like the glenn close versions of the dalmations movies very much...i think almost better than the original animated ones. this movie was cute...i like seeing close in wacky roles such as this and the puppies are so cute too. my kids love it too...animated or not. it was an easy movie to watch with the little ones.
a must for any disney movie collection!

Not as good as 101

This movie is okay, and Glenn Close is again the perfect Cruella. But on the whole it wasn't nearly the movie that the first one was. There's no Roger, Anita, Horace, or Jasper. And the addition of a talkative parrot who thinks he's a dog doesn't begin to make up for it.

Disney second try at turning another classic cartoon into real life. It is a fun time to be enjoyed by all and the Parrot acting as a dog is just hillarious.
