Enter the Matrix review

In the game Enter the Matrix (American Version), you are basically going thru the second movie (The Matrix: Reloaded) thru the eyes of either Captain Niobe of the Logos or First Mate Ghost of the Logos. Experience over 14 different chapters with a total of over 60 levels as either of the two characters (Note: The 2 additional CHEAT chapters unlockable thru the Hacking mode; contains 8 additional CHEAT levels!) Fight beside some of the movies main characters such as Trinity, Morpheous and more in the attempt of helping The One reach his destiny of ending the war against Zion.
Includes over 13 real life weapons and hand-to-hand combat action against enemies such as Security Guards, Police officers, S.W.A.T force, Military combatants and worst of all Agents. Includes exclusive film footage by the creators of the Matrix trilogy, awesome Matrix enhanced abilities such as bullet dodging, running up walls and slow-motion combat.
Enter the Matrix is copy righted by Warner Brothers entertainment, Shiny Entertainment, and Atari. It was written and directed by the Wachowski brothers (The actual creators of the Matrix trilogy.) I personaly enjoyed this game and beat it myself with no trouble at all on Hard mode as Ghost (I confess to using cheats.)
IN THE WAR TO SAVE ZION, WHAT PART WILL YOU PLAY?

Adds to the story, but not to the experience.

I loved the first Matrix movie. This game is much like the 2nd and 3rd movies were to me; it would've been better if it didn't have the Matrix name attached. There's just so much to live up too.
The story of the game takes place before and during the Matrix: ReLoaded. You play as Ghost or Naiobi. You don't get to play as any of the main characters, and you don't switch back and forth throughout the game. Instead you pick which character you'd like to be at the beginning, and take their story through the whole game. The story helps add to the story of the movies in an attempt to add more depth to both the plot, and the characters. The new movie cut scenes are top notch quality.
The combat is sufficient, complete with martial arts, guns, and bullet time. None of which really evolve a lot as you go alone.
There's a few driving levels in the game to help mix things up a little bit as well.
The graphics are also, sufficient, but very dark. If I don't want to have to crank up the brightness, I have to wait until night and turn off every light, or else I'll have trouble seeing what's going on.
Overall, there's nothing really terrible about the game, but I also wasn't blown away with it. If your a die-hard Matrix fan, you'll probably want to expand the story with this game.

Great game taking one into the depths of the matrix where is found the absolute meaningless of playing too many video games. The mind is absorbed in extreme frame rate action causing children to be unable to read much more than three letter words afterwards. Having been rendered IQless and unable to listen to instruction from parents, children then wandered in the streets and the wilderness and eventually become government officials or privileged Wall Street investment bankers and then lost it all investing with Madoff. Obama rose to the occasion and come up with the ultimate solution, a video game offering all youngsters the opportunity to play government leader who saves the day by completely collapsing the financial system and making everyone completely dependent upon government. Then, the administrative authorities had the power to tell everyone what to think, do and where to live and thus caused writing like the aforementioned drivel to be banned. And so it was.....

This game is a excellent game. You can run up wall, while you using focus. With focus you can make everythig around your surrounding to move very slowly.
You can dodge bullets while using focus. This game is pretty cool to play.

This was an original release of enter the matrix for playstation 2 not the greatest hits version which is a plus from the start. Then the fact that I got it for only thirteen dollars made it an even better deal. You can't find the original release anymore unless its used. This game was still factory sealed. I was a little let down that it didnt have Neo in it. Considering he's the center of the matrix trilogy. Its steal surprisingly fun and follows the second movie well.
