| Disney's animated film TARZAN gets the videogame treatment and makes his way to the Game Boy Color. The game follows the plot of the movie: you must help Tarzan grow from a boy to an adult in the span of 14 levels of action. While many of the levels offer platform-jumping, vine-swinging fun, some of them recreate some of the action sequences from the movie. No matter where he is, Tarzan must collect the tokens and fruit that are scattered about. Collecting 100 tokens earns an extra life, and the fruit can be used to dispose of enemies. If you can collect the four pieces of Jane's baboon drawing, you can earn the chance to play a bonus level. You've got to help the young ape-man discover his place in the world with TARZAN. | |

I purchased this Tarzan Gameboy Game for my 5yr.old daughter. She was given an older Gameboy and we've have been everywhere trying to find games, as they do not make them anymore. What we love most about this product is that it is easy for her to play on her own. It is not as complicated or as expensive as the newer games out now, and by playing with it she can still feel like one of the BIG KIDs. It really is made tough for kids to handle, in my opinion it is much better for kids her age right thru age 12. This game is fun, safe, age appropriate and non-violent the way children's games should be and at the same time exciting enough to be enjoyed by an older child or even an adult. I would recommend this game to anyone out looking for honest, clean, fun,that is safe and age appropriate for their younger children that want to be just like the BIG KIDs. The only thing we dislike is the fact that these games are not made anymore, and very hard to find for the older systems.
But.. Thanks to E-bay that's not a problem anymore either.

E IS FOR WHO? I WISH THERE WAS AN AGE RANGE FOR EASE

The game is good & cute. But it is too hard for a 4.5 yr old girl. When I was a kid I couldn't even do half the stuff they can do now. She is quite niffty but this is still pretty hard for her. I am playing more than her & it is rather hard for me. The snakes in the trees are hard to see & you have to jump from rope to rope which takes the right timing. So my opinion is under 6 it's not the game. We just watch Tarzan that's why I thought it would be good. Not yet.

THIS GAME IS GREAT MY GRANSON AND SONS ENJOY IT VERY MUCH GRAPHICS ARE GREAT AND HIGHLY ENTERTAINING. WOULD RECOMEND THE GAME TO ANY ONE THAT ENJOYS ADVENTURE.
