) When would anyone ever find but the best of music where this group is involved? These four voices combine to make about the best in songs from a past era but still so pleasant today. Their famous renditions of Standing On The Corner, Love Is A Many Splendored Thing, Moments To Remember, No Not Much & Tonight (from West Side Story) along with Time After Time, Magnificent Obsessions, Together Whereever We Go & The Mocking Bird are a few among the total of 18 titles on this 1 disc. It's great!

When I was a kid, I had a record player that would play 45's, 33's & 78's; Yes this was before 8 track tape players. In my childhood, I had to bug my parents to let me buy the latest top pop hit on a 45 record, for which I was denied 99% of the time. See, my parents were big fans of Elvis & the Four Lads, so....., I had no choice but to develop a taste for this kind of music. Elvis was just fine, but the Four Lads....yuck!
As time went on, I sang in church choir, High School Choir, College Ensemble, Barbershop Chorus, Chamber Choir, weddings, etc.,etc. for which I developed a true appreciation of blended voices with harmony. My musical development helped me to discover that the Four Lads were very talented at what they do. However, it took me a long time to figure this all out and then I found myself without that record player anymore and this is why I decided to buy this album on CD.
I may not be "cool" singing the Four Lads music in traffic, but I'm happy.
As time went on, I sang in church choir, High School Choir, College Ensemble, Barbershop Chorus, Chamber Choir, weddings, etc.,etc. for which I developed a true appreciation of blended voices with harmony. ) I purchased this CD because this was my era of music and my very favorite singing group from that time. It brought back lots of memories for my husband of 42 years and I. We danced to this, courted to this and still dance to this!!! I had looked for a CD with Moments to Remember on it for a long time. This was always my husband's and my song. ddckejar

) What a nostalgic trip down memory lane this is for me..The songs were great then and still wonderful today. "No Not Much" was "Our" song then & I will never forget that special time in our lives...

I bought the CD as a gift for my father, He loves it. The sound quality was wonderful, and the price was very good. I would say that I recomend this CD to anyone who likes the Four Lads.
