Dr. Michael Rafael Moreno, better known as “Dr. Mike,” is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine and Hahnemann Medical School (now Drexel University). Following his residency at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, California, Dr. Mike moved to San Diego, where he now practices family medicine and sits on the board of the San Diego Chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In 2008, Dr. Mike launched “Walk with Your Doc,” which he participates in every Tuesday and Thursday morning before his workday begins. I have just purchased this book and haven't had an opportunity to read and follow the 17 day cycles, but I have heard a lot of great things about the weight loss following the cycles and NEVER being hungry. This book, written by a medical doctor, will surely include all the food groups and not be harmful to the reader. I have a good feeling about this diet. This is the first time I've ordered a diet book, but I had a good feeling about this diet, more confident, and anxious to begin. I will be happy to let you know how well it works.

It's very well written, Dr. Moreno explains the why and how things work behind the diet and it works! I bought it because I saw how my neighbour lost weight and now I lost the weight I wanted to and was so hard to achieve with other diets, my husband and my 21 year old son both also lost weight! I love it and recommend it to anyone as it is a healthy way of living and feeling good about yourself!

A weight loss program that works.

First and foremost the diet works. I have lost weight on it and would recommend it for weight loss. That being said some of the meals were difficult to prepare because we had a hard time finding some of the ingredients. Not all the meals were good but that comes with the territory, if you want to loose weight you must change your eating habits.

This book is absolutely awesome! It definitely gives you results. It is not a big sacrify to the snacks and bad stuff for you. You feel full but not hungry and the meal plans and suggestions are so easy to follow. I would suggest this to anyone interested in truly losing weight.
