A great book by a great author

Antrax is the second book in The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara series by Terry Brooks. The book begins right where the first book ended. The crew members of the Jerle Shannara are facing new deadly obstacles in an uncharted land. Bek must face the past in order to have a future but the present might prove the most difficult to overcome.
The only problem I have found with this book is that I wish it were another 100 pages even though it tops out at 375. Where most author's have trouble on book two of a series, Mr. Brooks has shown that he is a true master of fantasy story telling, keeping you turning the pages faster and faster until the very end. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Best Fantasy/Fiction I've read since Tolkein

This is one of a series of books by author Terry Brooks who picked up where JRR Tolkein left off. Taking place in the Four Lands the wars of men still go on. It is best to start at the beginning with First King of Shannara and move forward, but by itself Antrax is fascinating reading. ONCE I PICKED UP MY FIRST BOOK (Voyage of the Jerle Shannara)I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN UNTIL I HAD READ EVERY ONE!!! Antrax was one of the most intriguing and HIGHLY Recommended. Anyone who puts this series in the Romance series makes me wonder if they have read them, so Tolkein fans who have had nothing to read, Take the plunge, you won't be sorry you did.

An amazing book. For those of you who say Terry Brooks is just a ripoff of the lord of the rings, and other fantasy writers, I'm just going to say that Brooks has his own style, and it's by far my favorite.
