LAST OF THE LARGE COINS

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
Created: 19/03/12
The 1973 Eisenhower dollar was stuck in Clad for circulation and there were also some that were struck in Silver with San Francisco Mintmark's. These are the last of the Large coins that were made by the US Mint and can sometimes be found in circulation. The Apollo 11 Insignia is on the reverse of the coin and these are personally my favorite US Coins.

The 1973-P and 1973-D Ike MS coins are listed as number 74 out of the 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins published by Whitman Books.Com by Jeff Garrett & Scott Schechter. Try to find both coins in their highest MS state and remember to purchase only NGC or PCGS encapsulated coins.

I purchased this coin because I didn’t have one for my collection and I liked it. I am trying to save pieces of our nation’s history for grandchildren and their children before they are all gone. My goal to obtain/collect at least one of each and every coin and note (Confederate & US) I can afford. I wished it was a graded - certified coin but on a fixed income I just couldn’t afford one at this time. I most likely would purchase this coin again.
