Pokemon LeafGreen Version (Game Boy Advance, 2004)
Created: 28/05/10
Good game, not very original. Blue/Red/Yellow (here-after B/R/Y) have been out years before it. The plus side of Fire Red or Leaf Green are the updated graphics which are on par with Ruby and Saphire; which have been the latest 'new pokedex' pokemon games and therefore most up to date. It does however offer an extended 'gameplay' area after the pokemon league which involves both the National Pokedex (allowing you to catch pokemon from Silver/Gold) as well as several unique islands to complete extra "missions" on.
If you prefer the old pokemon to the new pokemon; this is the game for you.
If you enjoy playing games that take time and are quick to adapt to; then this is the game for you.
Although, if you prefer the newer version of pokemon; i would not recommend this version as it is merely an update on graphics. All gameplay is identical to B/R/Y as mentioned above with the exception of the Rainbow Isle's.
(1) Total gameplay time for an experienced player; roughly 20-25 hours. (2-3 days). Non-complete Pokedex. Pokedex completion adds an infinite amount of time based on the players trade activity.
(2) Total gameplay time for a new pokemon player; roughly 50-55 hours with the pokedex as an extra as mentioned in 1.
Does offer the usual pokemon 'starter 3' with varying types making the game unique from the starting point at least 3 times with an almost infinite variation based on the pokemon team of 6 the player chooses. (492 total pokemon).
Any further questions will be happily answered within 36 hours and experience is based on pokemon games Blue, Red, Silver, Crystal, Saphire, Emerald, Leaf Green, Platinum. With the exception of the Japanese "in-between" game models this is every generation of pokemon. (That i'm aware of.)
Uniqueness: 3.0
Play-time: 3.5
Variety Style Play: 5.0
Difficulty: 2.5-3.0
* ~ Difficulty Varies on Pokemon Team chosen ~
** ( {Compatibility w/ Previous Versions Only After Completion of Main Storyline} ) **
Overal Game Rating::
3.5-4.5 depending on gameplay style.

A remake of the Pokémon Red & Green (Blue in North America and Europe) Versions on the GB. Contains new graphics and 2nd+3rd gen Pokémon, all of R/S's updated mechanics, and some new features like Versus Seeker that let's you battle upgraded parties of trainers you already defeated and the Sevii Islands. Which add plot that links the games to HG/SS and include Johto Pokémon to catch. Let's you trade to and fro with RSE and some Gamecube Pokégames later on.

Pokemon Leaf Green is remake of the original Pokemon Green version. This game brings so much joy and happiness to pokemon experts and not only! You can connect this precious game with the Hoenn region and with the Orre region.Amazing game!Don't wait!Buy this game and start the journey to catch 'em all!I think pokemon Leaf Green/Fire Red are the best 3rd Generation games! They have longer story line than Pokemon Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire.In this game ONLY you have the chance to obtain the rare Kanto starters-Bulbasaur,Charmander and of course Squirtle!Teach them Solar Beam,Fire Blast and Hydro Pump and enjoy how strong they'll become!
I bought this game because I wanted to feel again the feeling of original pokemon game and to trade with Pokemon Colosseum/XD!But the best thing about this game is after you beat the Elite Four once, they will become stronger and stronger! Can you defeat them? What about Gary? He's very tough trainer? Are you stronger than Gary? Can you defeat his well-balanced team? You can find out that and many more mysteries about the friendly creatures called POKEMON!

if your good with rpg's these are good games to get and play because they make you think at times. if you want to catch them all as the saying goes you need fire red, leaf green which was not originally released in the US, ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond and pearl. if you think you want to "get away" these are the games for you. they are all playable on the nintendo DS copyrighted.
