    There are so many BEST OF David Bowie collections out there, I've lost count, but SINGLES 1969-1993 stands a little above the rest in my opinion, because it doesn't just feature the big hits (i.e. "Space Oddity," "Fame," "Under Pressure," "China Girl," "Ziggy Stadust" etc..), but also features a number of harder to find tunes like "TVC 15," "Sorrow," "Sound & Vision," "Beauty & The Beast," & "Loving the Alien". With 39 tracks in all, this 2 Cd set is a terrific blend of big hits and more obscure tracks. The only negative about this collection is it's "singles edit" format, meaning a few of the tracks are the shorter, radio friendly edited for time versions and not the same as those found on the original releases. For this reason I give this 2 Cd set a 4 out of 5 stars. If you are a DAVID BOWIE fan that wants the hits and a little more, than SINGLES 1969-1993 is the collection for you. Peace-LLN

    my wife loves bowie but didint know what album to get this gets all the songs she and i like without spending lots of money and time on all the albums that were made plus there is not enough space on our cd rack for more than this

    Bowie is a musical genius since the first day he created a note. let's pull together and erase the crap being played on the pop stations and educate our upcoming musicians with the basics!!
