Album NotesSlaughter: Mark Slaughter (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Tim Kelly (guitar, background vocals); Dana Strum (bass, background vocals; Blas Elias (drums, percussion, background vocals).Engineers: Dana Strum, F. Townsend Wessinger.Recorded live during the summer of 1990 in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia.Success came fast for early 1990s pop metallists Slaughter. An opening slot on Kiss's summer 1990 tour in support of their HOT IN THE SHADE album also turned this up-and-coming band into a tight live act, as evidenced on the six-track live EP, STICK IT LIVE. Surprisingly, the quartet had no problem replicating its heavily overdubbed studio-based sound on the concert stage, as shown throughout this mini set.The group sticks closely to the songs' original arrangements. Highlights include the hits "Up All Night" and "Fly to the Angels"--the latter song about an ex-girlfriend of Mark Slaughter's who had just passed away--as well as the lesser-known album rockers "Burnin' Bridges" and "Eye to Eye."
