Movie synopsis
Cranky, stressed-out TV producer Lucy Cullins (Whoopi Goldberg) works for a home shopping television station. With Christmas fast approaching, she is in charge of hiring the channel's on-air Santa Claus. Meanwhile, the real Santa Claus (Nigel Hawthorne, THE MADNESS OF KING GEORGE) is at the end of his 200-year contract. He heard of the position at the station and applies for the job--but Lucy doesn't believe his credentials, and the real Santa must convince her that he is the right man to play himself! Executive produced by Garth Brooks, this touching tribute to Christmas is fun for all ages.

) My whole family loved this dvd we see it on at Christmas time great story being told here. Poor girl who believes in Santa and then looses her dad and stops believing in all, grows up and is mean. then Santa needs her to take over and finally at the end she remembers when she was little and believed great story won't spoil the ending. Love Whoopi Goldberg anyways great person and actress.

I have seen the movie, and it was just a well written, funny, touching story. Anyone who likes Whoopi Goldberg will like this movie too, and the price was not bad at all, so you should consider buying it.

This movie rates at the top of my favorite Christmas movies. Whoppi is great and I love Niguel Hawthorne as Santa Claus. He really looks the part.

GOOD MOVIE

Have seen this a couple times now and my family enjoyed watching it again. We love all the Christmas movies. Watched by ages 8 to 62 and enjoyed by all.

This movie is an excellent Christmas movie and should be up there with Miracle on 34th Street, and a lot of other Christmas movies as well. the cast is great many of whom people know from different movies and TV
