Howl and Other Poems by Allen Ginsberg (1956, Paperback, Reissue)

What can I say about "Howl"? Indispensable reading for a poet like myself, and strongly recommend for everyone else. Aside from the title piece, my other two favourite Ginsberg poems can be found in this collection: "A Supermarket in California" & "Transcription of Organ Music." I already Ginsberg's complete poems, but there is something so satisfying to have a copy of this classic volume to carry around in your back pocket. Makes you feel like a part of literary history.

Allen Ginsberg is a creative genius. I carry this in my purse and flip through it when in waiting rooms, in line, or etc.

This book is a must read book, or so my nephew says. He has gone through several copies of this book reading it so much it would fall apart. He says he uses the words in this book to keep him grounded and knowing how he should live his life.
