Mario Paint (Super Nintendo)

one of my favorite games from childhood, its still one of the most unique games ever. it came with a mouse and plastic mouse pad (for those of you thinking about buying from ebay, be sure it comes with the mouse, or be ready to buy it separately, you need it to play) this was a great creative game. you could color, draw, create simple animations, use little icon stamps in your art, or create music.

there was a little fly swatter game in it too that didn't really have anyting to do with the rest of the game, but that game is the only game my mother has ever decided to play on her own without coaxing, and for some reason she loved it and was better at it than me.

it's an incredibly different game, nothing was ever made quite like it. i'm sad that they've never expanded this into updated versions for the gamecube or wii. great for kids, especially if you don't want them playing anything with violence.

MARIO PAINT - HOURS OF FUN AND CREATIVITY

Created: 05/01/10
If you have a budding artist in the house, or grandchild and are looking for a fun activity YOU will enjoy as much as the child, try this game. You will need the mouse to use it.
You will be amazed at the art you can create on the TV and then color it in with just plain colors or the extensive offering of patterns.
There is also a music section, that lets the child place notes using different sounds and then you can hit play and listen to what was created.

An expressive and entertaining painting and music composition game.

Mario paint is a very unique artist game for the Super NES. It would really only interest a certain type of person, who is probably musically or artistically interested or inclined. This game is played with the Super Nintendo Mouse controller, very similar to a computer mouse. The mouse is somewhat smaller than a regular mouse, yet still comfortable. Mario paint includes 3 main modes:1) Sketch mode, where one could draw paintings and sketches with a variety of options; 2) Composer mode, in which one could compose a piece of music or edit one of the three built-in songs; and 3) flip-animation mode, where one could create a flipnote animation with a variety of options. The mouse controller is more than satisfactory when using the game, and you can change the mouse speed in the game's options. It's also very smooth and responsive. Another useful feature of Mario Paint is the abikity to choose between your animation, drawing, or musical composition freely. Mario Paint also features a save and load option, where you could save one game file. This one file will save your current drawing, animation, and composition. You can save or load this save file whenever you want. Finally, there is also coffee break mode, which is a fast and addicting minigame of swatting different insects before they escape or sting you (it even has a boss bug at the end of every level!). In short, Mario paint is a very attractive and artistic drawing/music game that is a great addition to a SNES collection and still a fun and expressive game.

mario paint review!

i rememberd this game from long ago, i have 3 copies of the game it self actually, but long ago was the mouse, and mousepad lost. i purchased the game full again, with mouse and mousepad and eveyrthing is in perfect working order. the second you turn it on , (if you have the memories like i do) it will all slowly come back to you, you can easily waste hours clicking through the drawing/animation screens, you can make music using mario sounds (my favorite) and you can play a few mini games. this is all ive gotten to so far since i got the game back, but in my opinion spending 10-30 dollars on this is totall justifyable - must have atleast the mouse to play

Mario Paint video game for SNES

Created: 15/12/09
I liked it because of the price. I decided to buy it because it was fun. And I am trying to make it along with a game system as a gift for my daughter.
Disliked the fact it did take longer than I thought to get here, and it was a little dirty. But wasn't bad at all. The game is one of those games that anyone can play at any age and you don't have to worry about anything inappropriate on it, not like the games today. My daughter is an older adult now but this was a game she liked to play when she was a young girl and figured she would like to have it for her little son's now, my grandsons. It is just a wonderful wholesome game that anyone in the family can play and not have problems with learning how to play it.
