Back in the Day (DVD, 2005)

This movie (produced by Ving Rhames) was so well done - I was pleasantly pleased. It's about this kid named Reggie (Ja Rule) who's father gets killed and this young man with a great future ahead of him, just goes astray. But with the help of his old school friend J-Bone is he going to be able to make things right and get the man who killed his father? Or will he continue in a downward spiral, until the cops get him or will he become another victim of the streets? This movie was very gritty with a lot of truth and great examples of how fragile we are as humans and when we get hurt, and lose a loved one, sometimes we get so caught up in the pain and loss that we forget what we have, what's important, and about the people that truly love us. This movie was excellent. I enjoyed it and you will too. Very nice and pleasantly surprising. WOW!

this movie was good it could have used a little more action but over all it was really good ving rhames isgodd as a bad guy that shoes tougt love to the homies.

this is an exceptional movie. the acting abilities of the main stars show a side of life that most people should be made aware of. i thoroughly enjoyed the movie that i had to watch it twice. i recommend this movie to most folks, but should be watched with parental guidance for the younger kids. i give this movie an excellent rating and it should be included in various collections. I think you will enjoy this movie.

Great story line. Overall good movie. Action packed but with a lot of meaning behind it. Definitely a movie I could watch more than once.

My son was pleased for the movie. I have not watched it, but he hasn't had any problems with it not play.
