While their peers tend to indulge in more earthy (not to say deafening) music-making methods, HIM's pristine washes of keyboards sound dangerously sunny on the sparkling "Wings of a Butterfly," while the gorgeously romantic title track wouldn't sound out of place on an old episode of BUFFY. Glossy and user-friendly, HIM are the gentler (if not kinder) side of devil worship.
