Leave It To Beaver - The Complete Second Season (DVD, 2006, 3-Disc Set)

These tapes are wonderfull. Back to the days when life was just a little simpler and not moving so fast. These are great family watching and worth every penny some kind of shows on tv should stiil be like this. No junk just simple clean humor. I love beaver and his brother they are so cute. They always find a way to keep us entertained. Never a dull moment. June and Ward are the best parents you will find. They handle situations in the best ways a parent can. If I could join this family as there long lost sister I would. I love them as family. I would recomend this to any young family to watch. There will never be anything questionable you have to worry about in these tapes. put them in the player and let them play. I love the leave it to beaver tapes.

Beats watching the reruns on TV LAND l00%!! First of all there are no ever- present "logos" to distract you. Secondly, There are no irritating "banners" plugging what will be on next, what will be on after that, etc. etc. Your tv screen is not "spray-painted" lavender telling you to watch "Finding Farrah". What you get with this DVD set are the full episodes, not programs with entire sequences missing to show a few more commercials and promos. Season one was terrific, and season two is even better with more episodes. Excellent picture and sound quality, and you can watch the Cleavers any time you please. Excellent,innocent, family entertainment, but I bet you already knew that!

i was given season one of leave it to beaver and i loved it! i grew up in the late 50's and early sixtys. Hugh Beaumont was portraid as close to my own father as beavers, in fact my father met him at a function in mpls mn in the 60's and had time to chat with him. i experienced most of the same growing pains as wally and the beaver and the resolutions to the problems were so much the same it was spooky! buying the second season on e-bay was my daughters idea one of her better ones,the price was half of the competitions. i plan on eventually buying all of the seasons. it is wonderfull wholesome entertainment? hard to find that today.

I purchased the Leave it To Beaver DVD set as a Christmas gift for my older brother. He received the same gift from his daughter and asked me if I could return it. Instead, I decided to keep it for myself. I have fond memories of gathering around the television with my brothers and my sister to watch Beaver reruns when we were little. During these difficult times during which we live, with the war in Iraq, and the never ending violence on the local news, watching an episode of Leave it To Beaver is like taking a mini vacation. I enjoy escaping to a time when life seemed simpler, less confusing, and people were more polite and had a sense of morality. So whenever I feel I need to "get away from it all", without exaggeration, an episode of Beaver does just as much for me as a weekend escape. It is comfort food for your soul. I highly recommend it!

Bought this because we loved the First Season DVD. The Second season DVD has to be as good. We grew up with the Beaver and we love to watch the shows over and over.
We'll probably hang on to these DVD's forever. They just never get boring to watch.
