A portable fighters DREAM!

Granted portable fighting is not a crowded genre. But I can easily say this is truly one of the best PSP games to date. This is a near perfect conversion of Tekken 5 for the PS2 and the graphics on the large PSP screen are very sharp and colorful. Every character has a cool video ending that can be earned or unlocked and the characters are customizble with the points earned from play. Plus you can play against freinds with their PSP's as well. Can't say enough good things about this awesome title!

I like that not much is changes when it comes to the controls of the game. Also, the Dojo, the online battle, and the other mini game features included in the game. What I thought was somewhat unappealing was that you don't have to unlock any characters and earn gold/currency to get items to customize your character for the non-story mode games.
I decided to buy this game because I have bought the games for the PS2 and I wanted to see what new features were in this one and how it played on the PSP.
Overall, this is good game if you like fighting games.

The Tekken series has always done well in arcades, but it truly came into its own as a home release on Sony's various video game consoles. The PlayStation and PlayStation 2 have received the brunt of Namco's Tekken series, but now it's time for the PlayStation Portable to get into the act with a port of the latest arcade upgrade for the series, Tekken: Dark Resurrection. This game builds on the content and characters from Tekken 5, adding more fighters, more moves, new backgrounds, new customization options, and more. Plus, it's one of those amazing portable games that raises the bar and resets your expectations about what a portable machine can do.

One of the best fighting games of all time, and on the go. Great game for any fighting fan. Graphics are great, online is good. The controls need some getting used to espically for King players, but still a must have game for the PSP. 9/10 Great

Portable Tekken better than PS2? Yes!

All the core features of the PS2 Tekken 5 are retained and multiplied in this wonderful update. Two new characters and Revamped levels add much more variety this time around. You wont fid yourself playing the same stage over and over in this one! There is no Devil Within minigame but its been replaced with Tekken Bowl, which I find is more fun anyways. I put off buying this for a long time and wish I hadn't. If you love Tekken this is a MUST have.
