Speed (Blu-ray Disc, 2006)

This is one of those rare action/suspense movies that will far surpass your expectations. You will be on the edge of your seat a lot because the suspense build up is done that well. The cast is what impressed me the most. I knew what to expect with the Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves pairing, but the supporting characters were a surprise as they were outstanding. Jeff Daniels is always wonderful on screen. Dennis Hopper was great as the lunatic holding them hostage.

Top things i like about this movie is the Video quality 1080p Widescreen 2:35:1
The plot is kind of corny but its well worth the money of $10 dollars or so
This is one of those movies that are rewatchable over and over again.The Special Features isnt that great but what do u expect from a old movie
Has a mini game i havnt tried out yet (Speed takedown game).All in All this movie is well worth the price.What i dont like about this movie is that.The Blu Ray Case
isnt that good im not sure if its the same for all single layer Blu-rays but
it has that re Cycle Logo cut out and that Pie cut out for the Blu ray case.isnt that good imo.2nd is the subtitled it could be better if it had more languages then just English and Spanish. i would like it more if it had Korea,Cantonese,Etc.but it isnt really needed it but i would like to see more subtitle or Language in blu-ray since its a 25gb~100gb Disc.

this is just one of those classic action movies, which also was original. being that the movie took place on a speeding bus thats about 2 explode. it was great, and dennis hopper was awarded the best villain of the year in this movie. whats not 2 like lol

Get ready for rush hour! This movie contains a variety of action, adventure, drama, romance, thriller and many more! I love this movie because it is very intense when you see all those action. It will make your heart pound fast. Probably knock you off your seat when you watch this movie. Recommended for adults to watch because of strong violence and language. Also this movie is approx 2 hours long, so grab plenty of food and enjoy!

I'm not going to cover the movie itself, as most people have seen this movie.

The transfer to Blu-Ray is as strong as can be expected, considering the
movie is from 1993. I'd rate the picture quality as above average, with a
slight amount of film grain keeping it from the "great" category. Still a
substantial upgrade from the DVD version. The audio is another matter.
It IS great. Folks with 5.1 surround systems are in for a real treat
throughout the entire movie. Fans of Speed should not hesitate to pick
up the Blu-Ray version.
