The Rockford Files - Season 3 (DVD, 2007, 5-Disc Set)

I have loved the Rockford files ever since it came on the air, and this is another season collection that is a big hit. I also enjoy having a preview of each episode before it starts, and there is no commercials to deal with either. Rockford has to be one of the best detective shows to ever come on the air, and you never know what kind of tricks he will use to crack the big case. Season Three had several very good episodes, and there is numerous stars that made it big who have made an appearance on Rockford. Some fo those people are: Sharon Gless(Cagney & Lacey) , Howard Swath(Fame), William Daniels (Boy Meets World), Charles Napier (Rambo 2, Blues Brothers, Dukes of Hazard), Lou Gosset Jr. (Officer and a Gentleman), Isaac Hayes (Did the theme for Shaft), Dionne Warwick (Singer), Linda Evans, Suzanne Summers, and many more. Two characters that really made Rockford a hit were Angel Martin and his father, and the third season had some of Rockford's best episodes that he did. This is a collection that is well worth having if you are a big Rockford fan like I am, so check it out.

Not much NOT to love about The Rockford Files - great show, great characters, great theme song...but maybe most important, the fashion, cars, and first-generation push-button phones of my youth - a complete blast from the past. Only negative is trying to pull away after one episode, and alas, only a few more seasons in the series...(by the way, did everyone smoke back then??)

I have season 1,2,4 and now I have season 3 as well. Loved Rockford back in the 70's, much better than what's on TV now!

Nor to get season five to complete the series!

One of my favorite shows when I was younger. Due to the ageing process and memory loss (mine) it's great again like I've never seen it before. Much better on my 50in LCD than it was on that 19in back in the 70's. That being said even with my bad eyesite I noticed they didn't take out the flim scratches. Plus there is no wide screen mode. However overall it's well worth the price you pay on ebay for it. I suggest getting it new sealed in box NSB.

this is the best of tv in it's time.it just does not get any better.hope the produce the rest of the years.i would buy them all at one time if they were availible.
