World Series of Poker 2008: Battle for the Bracelets (Xbox 360, 2007)

I like how the game is streamlined more fluidly than WSOP 2007. You can fast forward through the computers decision making which also saves a lot of time. Loading times are quick. The gameplay is a little quirky. I don't know if the AI is set to bluff an aweful lot, but there are some very prominant poker players that don't play as they would at the table. So, it gets tough to read your oppoenents. there are tools to help you along, keep track of pot odds, how many outs you have etc..Many more games than just No Limit hold em as well. But like I said in the title, the main tournaments can take days. With over 2,000 people in some of the early tournaments, it seems drwan out. But you can save mid tournament and come back later. There are times when you get invited by some pros to play cash games. Phil Helmuth has an excellent tutorial as well. There is also online play, but I have yet to try that.

If you love poker, you will like this game a lot. graphics, menus and commentary us sub par, but the playing is fun.

If you just want No Limit, buy the arcade game.

I recently bought the World Series of Poker 2008 for Xbox 360 and I really like this game because I like to play poker. I was expecting the opponents to be computerized and not play like a real person would, but they actually mimicked how they play in real life. The only thing I dislike about the game is it doesn't have all of the big name professional players like Phil Ivey. But overall it was a great buy and if a newer version of the game were to come out I would probably buy that one as well.

This series gets better every year! Online play is nice with 21 player tournaments possible. Not much else to say. It's poker. There are nice unlockables to keep you playing and the achievements for xbox live are done well also.

If you are a fan of poker and are willing to shell out 30 bucks, this is a must have for any poker fan!

Very fun game, the game play of all the pros are very similar to there real life game play. Great way to play poker without losing any money. This game also taught me how to play many other styles of poker like Razz, Omaha, Horse, and many others. A++

the A.I. can be a little tough, but the tools like pot odds and hand calculator are a great tool to learn how to play real poker.
