My Little Eye (DVD, 2004)

A simple plot that creates a lot of suspense. The movie takes its time to get to the "action" but is still worth watching. Not a classic but it is fun to watch with your favorite "reality t.v." fan!

I don't really like horror/ slasher films and I was afraid this is what this movie was going to turn into. However, the plot sounded good and so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was glad that I did because it wasn't gory at all. It actually reminded me of Stephen King's Dreamcatcher but without the whole alien/monster thing. The storyline ended up being decent for what the movie was. The acting could have been better but it was about what I'd expect from the caliber of movie that it was. All in all, it was enjoyable and that's all I ask for in a movie.

This was interesting. It wasn't exactly as much fun as I thought which kind of spoiled it for me, lots of sitting around and talking, it was also a tad slow. Though I have to admit I watched it for Kris Lemche, he's always such a great actor and picks interesting roles. I felt some of the story was a little cheesy and was definitely not scary (except for one jump scene). A little more excitement and action would give this a 5 star rating. However, I would watch it again one day. Rent first.
