Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (Wii, 2008)

This game turned out to be a quick favorite for my roommate and I, as it plays out very easily and exciting. One of the best aspects about it, is that you have the ability to move over pretty much the entire city of New York - including the Brooklyn Bridge, downtown, and the Empire State Building. Even the story line is fantastic, as that you have the ability to control if you let the symbiote or spiderman respond to a situation, effecting the story videos, and the overall course of the game. The controls were very easy to use, and the flicking of the wrist to sling from building to building makes you feel like you really are spiderman. FInally, the transition between the two suits is amazing and fast! There were many fights in which I switched suits midstrike, only to lay down a more powerful strike with the dark suit. To any spiderman lover or nonlover, this is a game that will quickly become an all time favorite! I know for me, it most certainly is!!!!!

Swinging around a full-scale model of Manhattan is pretty amazing. I find myself spending more time just swinging around between the buildings than I do actually completing tasks. (The fact that it lets you do that is pretty cool, too)

I like that you can do pretty much whatever you want in this game, but I wish your actions had more of an effect. You get "red points" (good) for helping hurt civilians, and "black points" (bad) for not doing anything, but you can pick up and throw police cars at people with no consequences whatsoever. That's fun, but at the same time, I wish it affected the game somehow.

Overall, though, I'd say it's a good game and worth the purchase!

i like that you can either save lives or just swing around the city also being able to switch suits at anytime in the game and you can also choose your alignment on the gama.

I brought this for my 9 1/2 yr old son because he had a good report card. My son cannot stop playing this game. He has various games but this is the one he keeps going back to even though he has already played it till the end. I watched him play and the graphics I saw were EXCELLENT! Any game that can keep my son occuppied and interested for so long is PHENOMENAL!!!

Spiderman Web of Shadows is a game that will probably keep you playing for hours. I bought this item because I'm a big spiderman fan, There was a lot of hype about it, and the gameplay looked great


Pros- The combat system includes new moves such as the web strike.

You can switch between the black suit and the original suit at will.

Each suit has its own abilitys the black suit can throw cars and is more destructive, The regular suit is better in in air combat.

The story line is good and you choose how the story ends

Cons- The bosses of the game have a huge health bar and it takes forever to beat them

The game can be very irretrating when you travel all the way across Manhatten just to learn you have to turn around and go back for a mission

If you like spiderman or just like beating up bad guys you'll love this game.
