| In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn't counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.In the game, players will return to Hogwarts to help Harry survive a fraught sixth year. They will also have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in Potions class and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. ) The staircases in this game can make you dizzy. The graphics not so good. I found the game a bit repetitive. You could only collect items, duel, make potions and play quiddich. No side games like chess in this game. One scene very funny with Ron given a love potion. Game a bit too short. Ending too quick.

) I love the Harry Potter series and I have always bought the games for the ps2. I love how it is not just an action game but a puzzle as well. You have to be able to figure things out on your own. There is also some action and fighting with the dueling. I finish the game and then try it again and again, and I always find something different.
Really good game, especially for Harry Potter fans

) Idk why everyone said this game wasn't very good. From what I've played so far, it is really fun. Order of the Phoenix was great, but some of the redunancies of it were eliminated with other good things added. Some of it is a bit more simplistic, which I like b/c I will probably get more replay value out of this game than most.

If anyone remembers the first Harry Potter, it was awesome. Then they went downhill. I beat this game within one day! It was boring and I kept waiting for it to get good. I would only recommend this game for younger children.

Game has very good graphics. It helps you through out the episodes. There is no one telling you what you have to do. Good background music. All the characters look like the movie.
