First of all I'd like to tell about the body: backside is made of soft touch plastic and I like this material. Unfortunately I can't add some photos with details, but I can assure that the build quality is high enough for this price bracket (below 120$). It doesn't make a noise while driving as it can be because of backlashes.

I can't measure a fastness of the device because it should be compared to something. Before I bought this GPS I had been using a 5" GPS with the same CPU - MTK 468MHz and I liked it. So my choice was not a guesswork, I made it consciously.

Resolution of the screen is 800x480px and it look's great (iGo 8.3).

AV-in works great (cable was not included, I've bought it separately) - just switch on the camera and the screen shows you the picture (GPS should be powered on, it doesn't matter what was shown at the screen when you turn on the camera or other device with NTSC or PAL video out)

Navigation works without any cons. Maybe this is the main reason why I choose this GPS (as I said - I had been using the 5"GPS with the same hardware for several months before it was stolen from my car). I've checked it very simply: just went outside and waited for connection to the satellites, after that a went back to my room and checked the status - it lost signal for a while but after several seconds it reconnected to the satellites. In the road it has never been lost a signal (except covered areas, such as tunnel, underground parking etc.)

I think it can't play normaly an avi movie with resolution more than 600x400px, but if you convert it to lower resolution (such as on YouTube) I think it will be able to play the movie. But I don't care about this future I don't need to play movies by GPS (I use my car dvd and GPS as a screen).

Bluetooth works normally, it easily connect to my Nokia 5230 and read the phonebook and other information. I didn't test all the futures because I have a hands-free device for my Nokia. Maybe I'll do this later...

It's hard to be negative about a product which is essentially a bargain, especially when compared with other badged products with smaller screens and limited functionality.

But:
The product I received was quite different in appearance to the one pictured, but this may simply be an update to the model. The actual model supplied has a really tacky chrome surround around the screen which I don't really like. It also appears a little more 'flat' than the device pictured so I suspect it is a completely different model.

First Impressions:
On opening the box I found the GPS well packed with plenty of foam to protect it in transit. Also supplied was a very short USB charger/data lead, a car charger and screen mount.
There was no manual of any kind supplied which was OK for me, having many years of experience with gadgets of all kind, but for the uninformed could present a bit of a problem.

Connections:
Ports include a mini usb, 3.5mm headphone jack and what appears to be a 2.5mm connector which is unmarked. Since the device should have had A/V support I am guessing this is the input, but with no connections supplied for it's a mystery at present.

Software:
Software pre-installed on the 4G micro SD card consisted of IGO8 navigator with maps of Eastern and Western Europe.
The GPS seemed to aquire reasonably quickly and the maps are as up to date as any can be in Spain, so as far as using it purely as a navigation system no real complaints.
I did notice that the screen refreash rate was very slow however, even compared to my old Dell Axim X30 which has served me well until now.
Other software includes a few games, video and audio player and an eBook reader. The music player worked OK, but a small .avi file was jerky as hell so I wouldn't want to use this to watch movies. I don't have any ebooks to try out the reader so I can't comment on how good or bad this is.
Windows CE 5.0 is included but doesn't really do much - there are some office file viewers installed but that's about it. Getting out of WinCE and back to the car menu requires shutting down the device altogether and waiting for it to boot up from scratch again.

Bluetooth:
Connected to my Samsung smart phone was no problem, and I soon had my phonebook listed on screen. As I was doing this, a call cam in and I was able to take the call but touching the accept button on the screen. Unfortunately the speaker is pathetic and the microphone even worse, so using this as a hands free kit is NOT an option.. Even with the volume turned up to full in a quiet room was barely audible - in a moving vehicle it would be useless.

FM Transmitter:
I was able to find a quiet frequency on my radio after a lot of scanning up and down, and tuned the FM transmitter to the same frequency, which did change the tone on the radio slightly so I believe the unit was transmitting. After about half an hour trying to get anything to play through the radio I gave up as nothing I did made any difference. Wouldn't be a lot of good anyway, as you can't use the GPS at the same time as the audio player - might just as well stick with the Navigator and your car stereo..

Conclusion:
I thought this was ideal, big screen, bluetooth, A/V, FM transmitter etc..
The reality is that (as always) you get what you pay for.
The chipset would probably be OK with a lower resolution display, but can't really handle the 800x480 screen very well, and as such I wouldn't recommend it to others.
