The '70s (DVD, 2000)

I received DVD of "The '70s" and it was remarkable. It made me remember how the era of 1970 was. That decade was very peaceful, but a lot of peace not like back in the decade of the '1960s when there was a lot of turmoil. I really enjoyed seeing the DVD movie"The '70s" and I will keep seeing over and over again. Thank you.

I had not seen the "Decades series" (The 60's & The 70's) on television and was unaware of the series until I spotted them on ebay. As an early baby-boomer, the 60's and 70's represent a defining period of my life. I was intrigued by the promise of a story that would explain what life was like in those turbulent years as well as highlight the key events of that period. I thought that these DVD's would enable my children and grandchildren to better understand what life was like . I thoroughly enjoyed "The 60's" and "The 70's" although some might consider them too shallow. For baby-boomers trying to explain what life was like back then, I recommend these DVD's as a light primer for children and grandchildren

This movie has the best music I new all of them except 2 songs from the 70's took you through the begining of the 70's till. All major events of the 70's were in this movie. The 70's had an excellent cast. Kept me entertained till the end. Loved it.

i WANTED THE MOVIE. IT IS A GOOD MOVIE IT WAS A GOOD PRICE HAD NO PROBLEMS GETTING IT IT WAS NOT VAIABLE AT THE STORE IREALLY ENJOYED THE MOVIE. IT IS A DRAMA IT IS A FICTION STORY WITH SOME ACTUAL HISTORY,

i bought this movie because i watched years ago when it came out and absolutely loved it. Other great movies that are similar to this are 'The 60s' which came out a year or two before this one, also a great movie and 'Around the Fire'. these movies are a great way to get some perspective on events in American History and is great way to remember some of it for those of you out there who just can't grasp the total understanding and feeling of the times and events by reading it out of a book.
