Painted eye candy is a good thing.

The main complaint I heard about this movie was that it had no plot and was just an excuse to have Batman and Superman in a movie together where they kick a lot of butt. Well it is used for that reason but also sends a shiver down the comic book geek's spine when they see some of the characters on screen, many for the first time, even after Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

While not as good as JL: The New Frontier it still is a good bit of entertainment for a cartoon, especially with all of the original voice actors coming back to play their respective roles.

The blu-ray bonus features are good. The dinner interview with Andrea Romano, Bruce Timm, and The Batman-Kevin Conroy is one of the coolest special features I have ever seen. Just listening them for an hour talk about the Batman Animated series and all the subsequent DCU Animated appearances of Batman. The episodes included of Batman and Superman are good, including two cross-overs from their individual series.

All in all this disc is worth the money and I recommend it to anyone who likes either character.

This one I like the best.

One of the reasons is that it had many different characters.

I would highly recommend.

Lex Luthor becomes president and puts a bounty on Superman's head (he is accused of killing Metallo) so Batman (who is helping Supes prove his innocence) are on the run from the government. Meanwhile a huge Kryptonite meteor is heading towards earth, who can save the day?

Based on the graphic novel (which was much more enjoyable than the movie) this is a very short movie (65 mins), mainly because there is not a lot of plot to go around. See Superman and Batman fight a bad guy! See them fight a whole group of bad guys! Now watch them fight some good guys! It's all very nice watching big battles, but it gets old on the sixth fight. Still, it looked pretty and the dialogue is great, but overall this is not the finest of the DC animated movies.
