Publisher's Note
A terrible fire in a wealthy suburban home leaves a married couple dead and Detective Lindsay Boxer and her partner Rich Conklin searching for clues. And after California's golden boy, Michael Campion has been missing for a month, there finally seems to be a lead in his case--a very devastating lead.

As fire after fire consume couples in wealthy, comfortable homes, Lindsay and the Murder Club must race to find the arsonists responsible and get to the bottom of Michael Campion's disappearance. But suddenly the fires are raging too close to home.

Frightened for her life and torn between two men, Lindsay must find a way to solve the most daunting dilemmas she's ever faced--at work and at home.

California's "Boy with a Broken Heart," the teenage son of a recent governor, has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Michael Campion, born with an incurable heart defect, has grown up under the watchful eye of an adoring public. The pressure on detective Lindsay Boxer to learn what happened to Michael is overwhelming. When she finally does get a lead, it's devastating - and for Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano it leads to the biggest trial of her life.
While working on the Campion case, Lindsay and her partner, Rich Conklin, also try to catch whoever is setting fire to some of the most beautiful homes in San Francisco, leaving their owners to perish in the flames. Lindsay enlists her friends in the Women's Murder Club to help her find the arsonist - and suddenly the fires start raging much too close to home.
These two intense cases bring Lindsay and Rich closer together than ever - and put Lindsay on the brink. Torn between two men and close to an emotional meltdown, she has to draw on every resource to keep from being pulled under.

Investigating the arson deaths of a wealthy couple, San Francisco detective Lindsay Boxer and Assistant DA Yuki Castellano find the case further complicated by the disappearance of a former governor's son, internal pressure, and the media.

Patterson Heaven

Created: 05/04/09
James Patterson delivers yet again in the 7th Heaven. The gang is all back for two exciting and electrifying stories of suspense guaranteed to keep the pages turning. Patterson not only gives scope to the overall story, but keeps the characters fresh with depth. From the first page to the last, the story is told in entirety from the man who has been dubbed, the man who cannot miss ! I really love this series due to the characters and how they know there jobs and yet can be friends and occasionally get together for a margarita at the famous watering hole of Susie's. Just when you think the book is about to slow down, Patterson hits the throttle for non stop and back to back scenarios.

I purchased this book as it was the next in the series of the Woman's Murder Club. James Patterson is an excellent writer and I wanted to continue with the series. The only thing I didn't like about the book was that it was not long enough, not enough pages. The thing I like the most about the book is how the characters come alive as you read and I feel as if I am part of the story.

This was the 7th bookk in the series by James Patterson, The Womans Murder Club. I was captivated through the whole series and this book did not disappoint. Well written the story flows like water. I found myself not able to put it down after the first 50 pages. Many twists and turns and an unbelievable revealment at the very end. I cant wait to see if there is an 8th book.

Excellent reading!!!

I'm an avid James Patterson reader and had already read books 1-6 in the Women's Murder Club series. So of course I had to have book 7! I could not wait to read it. It was an excellent read just like all the other James Patterson books. I can never put his books down and end up finishing them in about 4 days. I highly recommend this series. What I love about this book is it has so many twist and turns. And I love the relationship the lead character, Lindsay Boxer, has with th other Women's Murder Club members! I love the fact she is torn between two men, without yet realizing it. I can honestly say there isn't anything that I dislike about the book. Now I'm waiting to get book 8 in the series!!!
