Max Payne (Xbox, 2001)

This game is Amazing. From the start of the game to the end of the game you will be on the edge of your seat. The action with all the special features such as "Bullet Time" work Great and are very neat. Game has an amazing story that will make you want to keep playing to the end, and the gameplay all the way to the end Never gets old. In fact you will probably find yourself going back and replaying this game over and over again.

Three years ago a young NYPD cop, Max Payne, came home one night to find his family senselessly slaughtered by a gang of drug-crazed junkies high on a previously unknown synthetic drug. Now that same drug, Valkyr, has spread through the whole New York City like a nightmare plague, and Max Payne's on a crusade for revenge, out to get even. The drug hit the city like a bad dream, turning it into a hell on earth. More corpses lie in the streets than there are demons in the real thing, and hordes of Valkyr-head junkies are on an insane killing spree, their eyes burning with mad green fire. To the Drug Enforcement Administration, DEA, this new drug was evil incarnate, to be stopped at any cost. They placed an undercover agent into the ranks of a NY Mafia family that appears to be behind the distribution of the drug. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

this has to be one of the best first person shooters out. I know its' almost 10 yrs old now, but the story line and graphics are just great. I wish they would update the game a little with some HD grafix, but it is Xbox original and i know they never really supported HD on that system.

this game is a cool idea but not realy my forte.. i like to play shooters on pc only.. it works and its ok but the grafix are old school and the game play is a lil slow. still kinda fun

Max Payne is just a video game classic. It has fun game play and an interesting storyline. Besides, who could say no to that constipated look on Max's face?
