A must-see movie for any fan of the original Airplane.
I have always been a fan of similar slapstick movies, such as The Naked Gun, Top Secret, and all of the Mel Brooks films, and now am a fan of the Airplane series. Since finding the original in a Wal-Mart movie bin, it was essential for me to hunt down the sequel on ebay.
I really enjoyed Airplane II, and can say without a dbout that it's just as good as the original. Only one aspect of the film annoyed me; about fifteen percent of the movie consisted of flashbacks by the leading character (Robert Hays). All of these flashbacks were just replayed shots from the original (not bad, but I've seen them before).
The script for this movie was extremely well written, and William Shatner was phenomenally funny. I dbout anyone could watch this movie and not laugh once every five minutes.
I give this move four out of five stars, but would've given it a five if Leslie Nielson had been part of the cast like in the original.
