) I bought the product used because I couldn't afford these when they were new. The reason for buying this instead of newer Apple or other brand screens is because it still has the no-glare surface and high quality display for working with photos or other graphics. I find it hard to tolerate screen reflections and therefore intensely dislike most if not all of the newer "shiny" screens. The color quality of the 23" Apple Cinema Display is very good and the non-glare quality is excellent. There is nothing to dislike, but you do have to take great care to avoid fingerprints, etc. because safely cleaning a non-glare surface isn't easy. If I ever get to where I can afford one, I might upgrade to one of the high-end graphics arts monitors of a different brand some day, but these are very excellent in the meantime. Would I buy another? ... already did.

The 23" apple monitor is a great product and is certainly worth the price. Color and resolution is awesome!!

the product ...apple cinema A1082 23'' widescreen LCD monitor...has been a great addition to my macpro laptop. it was purchase to watch movies and tv shows off my laptop. the monitor came in great condition but the reason this was a great buy was the fact....it came with the adaptor, others didn't and the cost plus trying to find one was worth the price. how it compares boils to the fact....it's a Apple product

Great DVI monitor for Apple. Sharp and clear images. Comes with USB and firewire 400 hook ups. Power switch can either turn off monitor or sleep the system (at least on a Mac).
When new, they were quite expensive but these days (mid 2012) can be picked up for reasonable cost.
