Size/weight: smallest I've ever seen or used. smaller than a paper notebook. if you find yourself wishing your iPad had a keyboard and a slightly bigger screen, and maybe a little more power under the hood, the macbook air won't let you down
battery life: varies by use. if your gaming, like portal 2 (which I play on very high settings), your going to get less than 90 minutes. if you turn off wi-fi, and only edit text documents, you can push over 7-8 hours. realistically, with light to mid weight web browsing, apple's number of up to 5 hours is probably not that far off.
Performance: like i say, i play portal 2 and bioshock at or at near highest settings. I know they aren't the newest of games but the fact i can play these at near highest settings is enough to make me happy for a computer that is this small and light.
Value: if small light and fast are your criteria, you know your going to pay a pretty penny for it. The typical pc ultrabook starts at $800 while the macbook air starts at $999. what do you get for that extra $200? 1. Mac os X lion 2. tapered edges, makes the macbook air look even thinner 3. more CPU, some of the other ultra books seem to only have the 1.4 ghz core i5 instead of the 1.6 ghz core i5 and up to 1.8 ghz core i7 in the macbook air

this is by far one of the best portable laptops out there. i use both windows laptop and this one. but i use mac OS far more than windows now. unless i need to use the dvd drive or do some graphics oriented work, i stick to the macbook air. my mac did initially die on me once, but apple fixed it in no time at no cost whatever in a day. even the shiping was paid for. and since then, its doing brilliant.
the new ultrabooks are good too, but i wanted to try out mac OS, and i LOVE it now.

good seller. nice,he try to help me alot
The MacBook Pro once stood for tons of power plus upgradability. Add a Retina Display and now it's just tons of power. It's a thicker, faster MacBook Air (with an awesome display). It's not bad, in fact it's quite amazing, but it confuses the general order of things.
The MacBook Air doesn't help in the clarity department. You can now order a MacBook Air with up to 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, for the first time in MacBook Air history. Users who were once forced into Pro territory because of RAM and storage requirements can now happily live with an Air. And thanks to Turbo Boost, you do get similar performance in lightly threaded workloads.

Best product ever bought. great seller and very honest and easy to deal with. Love the product because it light and small. run very cooled and power up very fast. don't even have to turn off the laptop since it is using flash drive.

This ultra portable MacBook Air really rocks. It is just a little bigger than the iPad, but unfortunately does not have a touch screen. Maybe the touch screen Air is next. Video rendering on this laptop is lightning fast. A 60 minute movie takes about 10 minutes to convert. This laptop fully utilizes the Intel Core i7 and the fan only comes on when converting movies to mp4. I don't even miss the internal DVD since I have almost always used an external drive and the internal DVD drive on Apple laptops was always breaking down. I just upgraded to mountain lion with absolutely no problem.
