) This is the second MacBook Air I have purchased. The old one is still going but the new one is much more powerful and a lot faster. I travel a lot and am tired of lugging around a lot of weight. This computer and a couple of small high capacity external drives and my entire world is available any time and continuously backed up. I would not recommend the 11 inch model for an only computer unless you want to buy a larger external monitor. The only addition I could have gotten on this new computer was the 512 GB solid state drive instead of the 256 GB. For the extra money you can buy a lot of external drives or cloud storage and have all the backup you want and load what you need anytime.

Moving from the 13" MacAir to a 11" was a very pleasant surprise. The keyboard & trackpad are great... and the form factor is perfect for the road warrior.
This must be my 30th laptop since the original "luggable" XT that weighed 20 pounds... Apple has listened to ALL enhancement requests and bundled them into this 2 pound delight.
Running Windows in a 2nd partition turned out to be my second pleasant surprise... 100% Win compatible.. runs Windows better than a "standard" windows machine... finds printers and WiFi automatically...
Overall I could not be more satisfied... Unless of course, Apple lowered the price.

This year’s MacBook Air hasn’t been reinvented in the same way as the MacBook Pro has. It’s essentially a housekeeping update that introduces Intel's Ivy Bridge platform and at long last brings USB 3.0 and Faster SSD Storage.
Owners may also have the benefit of the Apple new operating system "Mountain Lion".
For those users who want to have the bootcamp drive with a Microsoft Windows the overall performance is very good.
