This 11.6-inch Apple laptop, with OS X Lion, was an excellent performer with long battery life, light weight, and a thin profile. The very good display had a wide viewing angle. The laptop also features the latest Intel processors and a Thunderbolt port, a new connectivity standard. It's the lowest-priced laptop among Apple's offerings.

Overall this laptop's performance was excellent. Sound from the built-in speakers was inadequate for all but the simplest use.
This laptop is a great choice for traveling. At 6.25 hours, battery life was very long, just about enough for a full day's work or more. At 2.5 pounds, this is lightweight for a laptop this size.
The keyboard, touchpad, labeling, and LED indicators were all well-designed, making it comfortable and convenient to use. The full-sized keyboard was pleasant to type on. The keyboard was lighted. The touchpad supports use of multiple-finger gestures to zoom and scroll. The touchpad is well positioned on the keyboard, so it's easy to reach and not prone to interference from arms or wrists.
The display quality was very good overall. Colors were in the ballpark, though not completely accurate. The laptop's display was brighter than most and it's anti-reflective, a plus for viewing in a brightly lit room or outdoors. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: There's a 64GB solid-state hard drive, which uses less power and accesses data more quickly. Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network.
Downsides: There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one. There are no ExpressCard slots for adding Wi-Fi or TV tuners. There is no memory-card reader, so you'll need to buy an external reader or connect your digital camera directly to this laptop to transfer photos. The battery is not easily removable.

I personally don't like the screen size its to small for me... She says its good for her but she probably says it because its a gift haha I like that it is a pretty cool product very cheap compared to other new macs. .id rather buy a product like this 2 years older for 3-400 less!

I bought this product for its lightweight design and easy portability. I love the display and speed. I wish it had more than 64G of storage, but since I use iTunes match this has not really been an issue for the programs that I use the most (primarily word processing). I sold my MacBook Pro on eBay and still think that the Pro is a superior model in battery life and available storage, but this MacBook Air fits all of my needs in a tiny package. I'm glad I purchased it, and I don't regret that I replaced my Pro with the Air!

Super fast! I love this Macbook Air! It has the i5 Processor and 4gb of ram! Tons faster than my Older Macbook Air 13 with the regular hard drive. This one has the SSD and boots in 15 seconds!
