If you are thinking about switching, go for it. Yes, it cots a bit more than a PC based lap top, but well worth it!

Brilliant. Superior to previous macbook airs ver A B C, in every way. Very silent, smooth, sturdy. Battery 50% extra time. Only minus I can see is the lack of backlighting keyboard. Probably the best laptop in the world!
Good Machine but a Bit Slow in Most Applications

) Although the startup and shutdown speeds are very nice and convenient for impatient people like me, the processor speeds controlling other functions (ie print, backup, disk utilities, computer cleaning tasks, etc.) are still quite slow where data throughput lags a bit. Apple should incorporate 2.6-3.0GHZ processors in the future to fully utilize & complement the fast HD (SSD) speeds. Should I expect the next generation Air machines to incorporate faster processors??

incredible piece of machinery

poss ible the coolest computer i have ever laid my eyes uon. i just bought a mac book pro for my self and this air was for my aunt... but i almost wanted to keep it for my self and let her take mine because it is so cool.
I would highly recommend the MacBook Air to any serious traveler.

It is a pleasure to use, It functions flawless and its battery life is outstanding,it's light weight makes it easy to travel with and the only flaw is you have to a buy a superdrive, if don't download directly from the internet..
