It's awesome. My previous computer, which was also my first, was a Compaq desktop PC AMD duo processor running Vista, used that for 6 years and then got this... You can imagine the huge tech boner I had, and still have to this day after my MacBook Pro 15.4 inch laptop Intel Quad Core i7 running the latest Mac OS, came in the mail. There's really noting I don't like about this amazing machine, other than the loss of the right hand numeric key pad that took hardly anything out of me to get used to.
I got mine, used, for $965! This was totally worth it! I bought the ebay Geek Squad 1 year protection just incase something was wrong with it, but so far, NO PROBLEMS! It's great.

) A wonderful upgrade from my '08 Macbook, I am loving the new features and ease of use of the MacBook Pro. I didn't expect to like the all-in-one trackpad without a hard button to push, but I'm finding that it's actually easier to use and has more options. The backlit keyboard in low light is also very nice, no more guessing where buttons are in the dark. The screen has beautiful resolution and color contrast, making my shows and pictures look more vibrant than they did on my camera or old computer. I also picked up an HDMI cable and adapter and love seeing my computer on my wide screen TV. :)

) Even if the price is high, it is worth every penny ,is fast,great resolution,almost free of viruses,with great app such as iPhoto ,safari,dvd player,included also msn messenger,excel,power point,I been a windows user my whole life but less than a month using OSX lion I feel I don't want to go back to windows again,another great apple product just like iPod touch and iPhone, a must have for apple fans and for people who are new to apple products too.

What is not to like about the MacBook Pro 15.4". Apple makes great products and I would highly recommend this laptop.
I bought this for my wife because here windows laptop continued to have issues and it was only a couple of years old. I was tired of playing IT guy and I have an iMac and love it and now she is very happy.
This thing I wish apple would do is add additional USB ports and an HDMI port (which is on the new ones). There are only two USB ports.
But overall, its a great laptop even if it is pricey.
