Apple iPhone 4S - 32GB - Black (Sprint) Smartphone

If you have heard about how bad this phones battery life is, please read the bottom portion, This phone's battery lasts longer than any of the 3 other smartphones I've had.

This phone has been wonderful for me, I've had this phone for about 3 months now, this is my first Iphone. I'm in Medical School so it's very important to be able to keep track of my Schedule which is extremely time consuming, especially compared to when I was an undergrad. My point is I have almost no life, I always have something I have to do, and this is were Siri kicks in. When I bought the phone I considered it to be a novelty, but she makes it easy to set reminders and put different items on your calendar. This phone has an abundance of features(once again, read the instruction book) that I love, the GPS is extremely accurate where my previous phone put my location nearly a mile away from where I was actually at. I have yet to experience a dropped call or been to an area where I didn't have Service, My residence is on Jupiter Island which is in Palm Beach County but I'm living in an apartment in Miami near UM's school of medicine, my point is that I take a very rural route going back and forth and at worst sometimes it drops down to one bar in some very isolated area's, so that tells me they fixed the antennae issue. Also, since I use mine so much Verizon has a case which isn't much larger than an otterbox, but the case itself has a built in 1800mah battery which has a switch where the case itself will recharge your battery, I think it's spelled iMophie or something like that, with the proper settings and making sure there are no apps running you are not using, it has excellent battery life compared to my last Smartphone even without my case which is also a charger.(ALL Iphones should have a case of some kind.)

(a brief word about battery life)My first bit of advice, read the instruction book. If your battery is going dead after less than 6 hours then you probably don't know how to shut down active programs which when built up will drain your battery, this happened to my brother, after using the built in feature of closing down apps that you THINK are not running, but are in the background, just hitting the back button does NOT stop any of the programs or even the app store or iTunes to stop running, afterwards his battery lasted more than 3 times longer and was also faster. You have to hit the button at the bottom 3 times, on the third time hold the button down for about 3 seconds, this will bring up a bunch of icons, This shows you the apps running in the background which are eating up memory AND battery life, even if you think an app is closed, if you haven't done this, every item you've used will accumulate, when the running apps come up, then you click the red button on it with the white stripe (it's similiar to removing apps, however, when you do this the screen pops up like when you activate siri, when doing this you are not deleting anything, for more info on how to do this I suggest calling apple tech support. anyway, any apps down there should be cleared out. This alone will make your Battery Time MUCH longer. I won't go into all the ways to save battery life, except to say that once a month let the phone go to where it's almost dead and then charge, this prevents a decline in battery life.

The most advanced iPhone yet
The iPhone 4S is the latest cell phone from the apple company. Apple was set to release the iPhone 5, but released the 4S instead. The iPhone 4S is a newer and more up to date version of the iPhone 4. It contains many of the features that the 4 does, but has a little extra involved. The two phones look exactly identical on the outside, but although they may look the same, there are a few new things that distinguish the iPhone 4S from the iPhone 4.
One of the new features on the iPhone 4S is an updated camera. The camera on this phone is an eight mega pixel camera. It has new tools and features such as: a cropping feature, a rotating feature, enhanced photo quality, and the ability to remove the red-eye effect from a photo. The camera on the iPhone 4S also has a backside illumination sensor, which is better for taking photos in areas with lower lighting. It also comes with an image stabilization feature and the ability to record full videos with 1080p resolution, which is a very high resolution. The camera on the iPhone 4S is a rather nice upgrade from the iPhone 4.
Another feature on the iPhone 4S that is different from the iPhone 4 is Siri integration. Siri is basically like a personal assistant on your phone. With the push of a button, you can ask Siri anything that you would like to know and the answer will be provided either directly from it, or you will be directed to an internet site that should provide the answer that you are looking for. For example: If you would like to know the weather in Evansville, IN, you could simply say "Evansville weather." Once that is said, the weather for that city will be displayed within a matter of five seconds. It is a rather unique and one of a kind app.
There are some applications that are the same on the iPhone 4S as they were on the iPhone 4 such as: the weather app, YouTube, videos, stocks, and maps. These apps are all also very useful, especially the map app. I have been lost a few times and I simply just typed in where I wanted to go, and the map gave me turn by turn directions. It really comes in handy.
The iPhone 4S is a fast and intuitive phone. It will be very beneficial to any and everyone who purchases it. It does just about anything you could as for in a phone. The iPhone 4S is a very fast phone that can do things that range from telling you the weather, to giving you precise directions, to capturing precious moments on the camera. Anyone looking to purchase a great quality phone, this would be the one to get. I made the decision to get this phone towards the end of 2011, and have not had any regrets about it at all. This is the ideal phone on the market right now. It is fast, presentable, and does everything that I need in a phone.

Highly recommended, fortunately in the current day and age we have a wide selection of smartphones that we can choose from. Anywhere from cellphones that replace all of your digital devices to just simple phones used for the basic function of making phone calls, yet not all of them work properly and all the time. After trying a variety comparable cellular devices i have settled on the Iphone 4S 16g version from Verizon Wireless. Key point is: It actually works(I know, surprising). I have owned this device for approximately a month now and had no issues whatsoever.

Some of the things i like about the device would include: This phone is very fast, almost instant application loading and seamless functionality.
Amazing display, all the colors are very vibrant and its just a pleasure to look at even.
Seamless functionality, the phone functions great and without any problems.
Amazing selection for applications and games.

Some of the things i dislike about the phone:
It's battery life could be a little bit better, it does last me a full day unlike some of its counterparts but whenever i heavily use it i need to put it on a charger during the day.
Siri (it's personal assistant feature) is occasionally unavailable due to the lack of signal or apple servers been clogged up.
Majority of the applications are costly, yes they may be a dollar or two but it all adds up.

This product tramples other current products in its category. Highly recommended.

I'm not an English native speaker, but I hope you will understand what I want to tell you) I'll start with iPhone's overall rating. I'll give it 4 stars out of 5. You ask why? I'll explain it lower. Productivity: 5 stars. You know, in my country not everyone can manage to buy an iPhone because of lack of money. (But about the price later). There's very few people, who have it. And that's the reason why they are always surprised, when they see this wonderful Retina display, amazing 8.0 megapixel camera in action, when they see me playing such oldschool games like Re-Volt, Crazy Taxi or GTA 3. They say: "Wow! You have your powerful PC, which you can put into your pocket!". And that's not only about these great features, as there are dozens of them: FaceTime videocalling system, iBooks, Newsstand and much more other. Really, this phone is very reliable and powerful as for the phone. -1 star is because of it's battery life. Of course, it works for a really long time in standby mode, but if to use all the great features, that were brought to us by Apple inc. you'll have to live right near the socket or to take some energy source with you wherever you go. Be sure: unfortunately, you'll have to charge it every day. But don't be scared, this is the way every modern smartphone works, as almost all their batteries have the same capacity. The price isn't small. Even if you have such an amount of money, before buying you must decide whether you really need such a complicated (with a lot of possibilities),, well-designed, powerful phone, or whether you need it only to make photos in front of the mirror, so that everyone could see, that you can manage to buy an "applephone". If you need an iPhone just for photos, you'd better buy a cheaper phone, stick an Apple trademark sticker to it and make some photos. All the money that you save you can give to charity. But still, this is your choice.

I own the iphone 4S and I looooove it! I do not have service through AT&T or Apple. Instead I have my service set up on mobile WIFI so I can use my home or office internet connection, or use Skype wherever I can get a satellite connection and still have it work great as a regular telephone, when WIFI is not available. I use Virgin Mobile for regular cell phone service. Now that they've updated their technology, I can finally use my iphone with Virgin, Yes!!! You can use a 3G network, or facilitate any WIFI connection to which you have access. The internet is fast for a cell phone.
I use this to erase all my junk mail and unwanted messages instead of the laptop computer. I can move through my inbox faster with the touch screen technology. The screen is clearer than that of my laptop computer, great graphic quality sooo easy to use. When I want to get online and not have to boot up a computer, I use this instead. Good rugged design is able to handle a lot of abuse and keep on ticking. If I had to ask for improvements. I would ask for a screen that's easier to keep clean and improved battery life. Maybe even a standard USB port on the side to import media from your computer without the use of itunes. While ipad, ipod or iphone will never fully replace a regular computer and can't even compare. When a laptop computer is to heavy to carry along, iphone is defiantly the next best thing.
