BlackBerry Curve 9360 - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone(UK version)

This is much lighter and slimmer than the Bold phones. No prize for guessing why - the battery is half the size. This gave me the biggest surprise - after years of legendary battery stamina from previous bbs, this new phone gives up after seven hours, so you need to carry a charger around (also now much lighter and more compact), or get used to turning it off whenever you can. It's called a Curve, and that means some elements are 'cheap': plasticky back, quite weak side frame. The camera is now 5mp, but BB have wasted a good camera by removing auto-focus, so most reasonably close-up photos are out of focus. The speaker on this phone is very good so listening to music or youtube or radio is pleasant.The connections and built-in apps are excellent: fast 3G, much better maps. And bb messaging still leads the field if, like me, you are abroad a lot and need to have free and instant contact with family and colleagues.

Extremely easy to use & packed with good features. The handset is lovely and compact with a vibrant screen and smooth operating system.

I bought this phone for my 11 year old daughter, because all her friend had one and she wanted one. She now has it stuck in her hand all the time...lol

We both liked the idea of the camera being better at 5mp then the 2.3mp that the others where offering.

it was really good but could use some improvements.i bought for my son and hes acctully quite exited to have this phone. he said the battery life could use some improving but overall its amazing!
