Best Club for Novice golfer
Created: 08/01/10
I've owned a Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver for a couple of years. It is the best driver I've owned and I've owned many of different brands. I like the way it fits my eye when I address the ball. The titanium face does not feel as hard as other titanium faced drivers I've owned. I use a 10% loft and find it easy to get the ball airborne. I recommend this driver to anyone looking for a great club at an excellent price. As a matter of fact I bought this driver as a Xmas present for one of my boys who's just getting into golf.

CALLAWAY BIG BERTHA 460 DRIVER FOR 2007
Created: 21/07/07
The new 2007 Callaway Big Bertha 460 All Titanium Driver is probably the softest and most forgiving driver outthere. I was so impressed using the Senior Flex...later purchased a Regular Flex because the I needed a stiffer shaft...I ended up getting the 3 and 5 woods. Nothing but straight, and every hit feels like hitting the sweet spot. Most importantly to me, I did not get that clunky sound as in the other Callaway Sumo2 s or the FT5 clubs. The white line around the top of the club face is a great aid and instantly points the club squarely in the direction you are aiming at. Be Careful not to sky the ball, because this white paint tends to chip off near the club face. Feed back is very good for a soft hitting club. I like the rebound effect when the ball comes off the clubface.
For the price, you can't beat what you get in performance. Be sure to demo all the clubs before making a purchase.

Nice driver. Especially with the Pro Launch shaft which is actually my shaft of choice. This one is still a virgin and is actually slightly stiff. But I will soon rectify that and expect to have a longtime relationship with this club. I have a Ping G2 driver with this same shaft that I hit very well and still love but since I play 2008 Callaway Big Bertha irons I wanted to complete my set. Since switching to Big Bertha irons after 40 years of golf without a hole in 1; I now have 4. Now that I have the Driver to match I intend to trade up from 2nd man in our 100 person mens club to Club Champ. You have to have goals ya know!!! LOL

Great Driver

The Driver is everything most people will need... Good shape, big sweet spot, and a good variety of shaft flexes, anything more is just hocus pocus. The sound is very good, too. I was able to hit the ball higher and at least as long with better direction control almost immediately. Unless you are concerned about always having the latest and greatest (most expensive) clubs, this one will do the job at a fraction of the later model Callaways. I am still playing the 1997 Great Big Bertha ti/tung irons and no one has shown a REAL improvement in the meantime.

Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver Golf Club
Created: 07/06/10
My brother has a Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver Golf Club. He asked me if I wanted to try it on a outing earlier this year. I loved the way I hit the ball off the tee. I decided to search on EBay to see if I could find a used club reasonably priced. I found what I was looking for a fair price. This was one of those purchases made that you wish could have happened sooner. I took an average of 3 - 5 strokes off my score in league play by getting off the tee better than ever before. My golf partners have even commented that the driver has made a noticeable difference and I made a good purchase.
