) Great buy, I bought it second hand due to being a newbie to SLR photography so didn't want to invest lots of money. Have already had an experiement with this lens and have turned out what I think are awesome photos. So much more than an automatic camera as there is room for creative experimentation. Good starting piece. People have also recommended another lens, either zoom or macro to complete a basic kit. No dislikes just need to get used to the size ofthe lens and body after using a small camera. Price wise this is a very good buy. although if you want something more creative you will need to pay for it. I can't wait until I have enough confidence to expand my abilities with a bigger lens. Excellent purchase.
