) This s a very versatile and simple to use lens that produces great quality images for the beginner-intermediate user. More experienced photographers will look for a lower F stop but for the money you'll pay, it's very hard to go past this lens. My only concern is it feels a bit too plasticky. The upside is it's very lightweight for a lens with a good focal length. It's a great outdoor lens and the image stabilizer works very well. I have several of these lenses in my various camera kits and certainly would recommend them. Don't forget to put a skylight filter on the lens to protect the optics from dust and scratches.

The lens was second hand but hardly used. It was the ideal lens for my use in the Local Camera Club and learning more about photography. The item was the best substitute for a very expensive 18 x 200mm lens, of which would do both jobs of two lens but I have found using two lens has been more beneficial to my photography learning. It is an excellent lens, both for Professionals & Learner, I highly recommend budding photographers to use this excellent product.

Like all Canon equipment this is top quality lens, most impressive is the image stabilisation (second series) which works perfectly even at 250mm.

Lens are great for the price, it takes great pictures, its light, it has a really solid construction. The only con is that with low light it takes some time to focus.
