) Been using it for a month, thus not many pictures were taken as of yet. However love how it works well with the 24-105mm lens that I purchased separately. The quality of the pictures reached a whole new level, and am still learning how to make use of all its functions.
It's a good time to upgrade to this lens if you started off with a lower range camera. I had a 450D before this, and this 5D Mark II which is much bigger and heavier, makes it look like a toy..I strongly recommend starting off with a cheaper dslr before upgrading to this, as it can cost quite a bit and will be a waste if you don't know how to use the functions on this camera properly.
Compared to the 5D Mark III, I think this is better value for money since the price has been going down.
Will be keeping this camera for a long long time! That's why I decided to upgrade :)

I upgraded from the Canon EOS D 30. Now about 2000 pictures later, I'm very happy with the camera. The picture quality is much better than the D30. Especial in low light situations is the camera very good, I rarely use a flashlight. The 21.1 MP allow to cut just a small part out of the picture, with still high quality. I'm very happy with the camera. I'm using it with the 24-105mm 1:4 L lens, a great all rounder combination.

Canon EOS Cameras are the best of the bunch !!

) This is a complicated camera and I have not in any way learned the finer points to take consistent photos.
I bought the camera body and had to buy a lens and flash separately...more learning.
I will need professional help to get the best out of this camera but when I do I am confident the effort will be worth it.

I love my new camera. Very happy with my purchase. The more I play with it the easier it is to navigate the different settings and functions. I recommend this camera to anyone who wants to share their own unique view on the world.

I have only limited use of the camera to date, since I purchased it some 5 weeks ago, but have been impressed with the camera and its performance.
