"Castle" is a comedy-drama television series broadcast on ABC about "Richard Castle" (Nathan Fillion), a famous mystery novelist who has killed off his main character in his book series and has writer's block. Castle Season 1
I got caught up in the middle of season 1 when I first began watching Castle. I wanted to know what I had missed in the first episodes so I purchased the season and have been a fan ever since. The storyline of this CRIME DRAMA ROMANCE is great. A no nonsense attractive female detective gets saddled with a PLAYBOY novelist who writes murder mysteries. The two of them cannot stand one another in the beginning but he quickly becomes infatuated with Kate Beckett both as a police detective and as a woman. Castle's angle to following detective Beckett around is research for his new novel called Heat Wave. Guest appearances in the show include 3 well known authors in their own right that are Castle's poker buddies. All in all, this show has just about everything for everyone: Suspense, Romance, Drama, and Comedy.

Castle, the perfect balance to mystery!
This show is amazing. I've watched since the pilot episode aired, have called myself a harcore Castle fan since! The show is varied perfectly. It has the adequate amount of drama, comedy, mystery & romance. All you have to do is start watching the pilot to get hooked! Once the thrill begins it's definitely hard to stop watching this A+ show. The creator, writers, cast & crew have really brought something new to tv. You'll enjoy Nathan Fillion & Stan Katic's Rick Castle & Kate Beckett from begging to end! You can never have enough

Castle: The Complete First Season
I absolutely love this show! This Season had only 10 episodes since it started as a mid season replacement. This show is about A Writer "Richard Castle", and a New York City detective "Kate Beckett". Castle needs a new Muse for his next set of Novels and Detective Beckett is that Muse. They end up getting paired up together and solve crimes. I loved all the episodes. The interaction with the two lead actors "Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic play well off each other and the sparks just fly! The entire cast is entertaining. The cases are not very dark like CSI but a little lighter and the cases are not difficult to figure out Who did it. This show has a comedic side and a serious side and they blend really well together. For me its a little bit of escapism. I've been watching the second season of "Castle" and I have not been disappointed! I Highly recommend this 1st Season of CASTLE! This show ROCKS!

I started watching Castle mostly because of Nathan Fillion, but I quickly grew to love it for the rest of the cast as well. Stana Katic shines as Detective Kate Beckett, the no-nonsense cop who refuses to take no for an answer. It's definitely a nice change to see such a strong. independent female lead. Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever add a nice touch of comedy as Detectives Esposito and Ryan, Beckett's partners. The chemistry between Fillion and Katic is undeniable and is one of the show's main draws. Castle packs a punch every week, and each season keeps getting stronger. It's one of the best shows on TV.
