I suppose most of us know the Cinderella story and have watched the movie many times. Some critics today say that it creates unrealistic expectations in the minds of little girls...of course, most critics Aren't little girls. It has been many years since I was a little girl but I purchased this movie for myself because it invites us to dream and to believe that even when it seems impossible, good can triumph over evil. While critics of the movie might see it as an unrealistic love story about being rescued by a handsome prince, children see so much more. For me, the little mice, the birds, and other animals were captivating! They helped me to see things from their perspective. Today I am an artist. Many of my paintings feature animals and birds and as I paint them, I imagine what they might wish to say. Perhaps this movie influenced me years ago; not to wait for a handsome prince, but to use my imagination. Today as I watch it, I have a great appreciation for the talented people who created it. It is a Masterpiece! However, I don't wish to dwell on the technicalities; it's so delightful to watch as a child, leaving adult worries behind for a little while and stepping into a world of delightful little creatures, good magic, and happily ever after. I highly recommend Cinderella for both children and adults.

) Such a beautiful movie! My 2 year old LOVES IT! Even the case is beautiful with the PLATINUM EDITION! It has a 3d effect and it's so shiny and pretty! A great movie for everyone :)
