if u have songs which are longer than 15 min... its really really hard to forward the song... have to touch da foward button & hold nearly 2,3 min to fast forward the song(15min)...

) I'm quite happy with my Coby MP838 MP3 player. I'm not the least tech-savy so I did a lot of online research and found a website (sorry, can't recall the name just now) that listed the various MP3 players and listed them by feaures, dependability and, most important to me, by how long they play before they need to be recharged. Well, I was misled by this website in that is said it would play 25 hours before needing to be recharged.
Not true at all. I'm lucky if I get 3 - 4 hours before it is drained.
But otherwise, it works just fine and I'm overall rather pleased with my purchase. I do not blame e-bay or the seller, but rather the misinformation I got on line.
I purchased this player specifically to be able to listen to my subliminal recordings, one after the other, while I slept. But that just cannot happen the way the charging system is designed.

I purchased this MP3 player for my son and it was not what i expected.The quality is sub-standard. It's very lightweight and cheap feeling and the touch screen doesn't respond well. You have to press on the screen really hard in order to get a response and that doesn't work all the time. I wouldn't waste my money or time.

) I READ A LOT OF REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COBY UNIT BEFORE I BOUGHT ONE. THE ONE COMPLAINT THAT A COUPLE OF PEOPLE HAD WAS NO BATTERY LIFE. SINCE COBY GIVES YOU A VERY INFORMATIVE OWNERS MANUAL, YOU MIGHT WANT TO READ IT FIRST. IF YOU DON'T CHARGE THE PLAYER FOR THE 8 HOURS THAT COBY TELLS YOU TO BEFORE THE FIRST USE, THEN YOU CAN EXPECT POOR PERFORMANCE. THIS IS MY THIRD COBY, SO I KNOW TO CHARGE THEM OVERNIGHT, BEFORE I USE THEM. SOME PEOPLE ALSO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TOUCHSCREEN. IF YOU MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN & DRY LIKE THE MANUALS SAYS, YOURS SHOULD WORK AS GOOD AS MINE. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
