) I use Adobe Acrobat Pro with this and the scanning feature on Adobe allows me to "manually" scan both sides very efficiently. I was able to scan a 200 pages front/back in under 20 minutes tops, depending on your computer configurations.
I got this mainly for its auto feeder capability and it handles the task quite well. The only problem I've experienced was when something goes wrong in the middle of the scan and your Adobe crashes and everything is lost. However, given the time that it takes it really isn't much of a problem that would make me consider a more expensive auto feeder scanner

Easy to use. Seems as if it will perform for quite some time. We are in the process of becoming paperless at home and plan to use this equipment to make it happen
