Movie synopsis
Julia Roberts reaffirms her superstar status with ERIN BROCKOVICH, an inspirational drama that is based on a true story. Roberts plays Erin Brockovich, a twice-divorced mother of three who is struggling to remain afloat. After she is involved in a car accident, she loses what should have been a lucrative settlement. Jobless and pressured, Erin convinces the attorney from her case, Ed Masry (Albert Finney), to hire her as a lawyer's assistant. She also befriends her neighbor George (Aaron Eckhart), a sexy biker whose dedication to her children appears too good to be true. As Erin settles into her job, she convinces Ed to let her pursue a case that involves the residents of a local community. Apparently, several of the townspeople have become sick with cancer and other diseases. The more that Erin investigates, the more sure she becomes of the guilt of Pacific Gas & Electric Company, an incredibly powerful corporation. Steven Soderbergh shoots BROCKOVICH with a flashy realism that allows Roberts to shine every second she appears onscreen.

) What I loved about this movie? Erin Brockovich's true story how she with a small law firm brought a small town to their feet, and a extraordinary huge Company to its knees. This is a wonderful story of one ordinary Mother of 3 babies fighting to survive everyday issues, like finding a job to support her and her babies. Erin stumbles into a small law firm and finds Ed the Lawyer, who is settled in nicely, with no ripples in his world..... until Erin steps into his world. Erin won't take "NO" for an answer on her journey with Ed. Together they fight, scream, holler, cuss, at one another only to find a deep connection to fight for a small town of people who are suffering from many diseases caused from the wasteful neglect of the Electric Company in California.
This story is almost "Biblical" in so many ways. David and Goliath! In Erin Brochovich's True Life Story I believe peoples around the world will learn and benefit from Erin's strength, deep compassion, and love for justice!!!!

) This wonderful movie is about the true life story of a strong minded single mom who is juggling, kids job and a lovelife while she fights one of the largest class action lawsuits ever. Very true, very heartwarming and inspiring.

Very strong model for women. Shows NOT to be afraid of stepping on toes. And the truth, is worth hearing and sacrifices to get it told. My mother , beyond the times, liked seeing it on Network TV. So, I got her the UN-interupted and Un-changed version for her to see at home.
