The ESCORT Passport 9500ix features the AutoLearn automatic alert classification system, which constantly monitors radar and laser signals to discover, identify, and remember new points of interest. Manual reference points can be designated and recorded in the database. In addition, GPS position information is continuously checked against a database of speed traps, red-light cameras, hotspots, and known points of interest to alert the driver.
The current speed information of this GPS radar detector feeds the adaptive Digital Signal Processor (DSP), using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) software to deliver the most relevant alerts and automatically eliminate false alerts.
The ESCORT Passport 9500ix provides complete radar and laser protection with 360-degree coverage. Radar detection covers all known speed radar bands, including X-band (10.525 GHz), K-band (24.150 GHz), and Ka-band (34.700 GHz), and laser (904 nm) detection. Laser detection is accomplished by quantum-limited video receiver technology, a highly sensitive laser detection system. Laser coverage is also analyzed and recorded by the AutoLearn GPS database.Moreover, the ESCORT Passport 9500ix can alert the driver before approaching a known hotspot even when beyond radar or laser range. Furthermore, proprietary Traffic Sensor Rejection algorithms distinguish true signals of interest while suppressing false alerts.
