Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (DVD, 2012)

Just watched this movie and found it to be a bit different than expected. I did enjoy watching it but it took awhile to get there. It is a deep movie about a child's view of 9/11. He is a very smart, witty child who was very close to his father, and lost him that day.

The pro's are that it is well acted, is a good story, very touching, and interesting.
Con's are that it does move at a slow rate, my other family members left the room and were bored. Sandra Bullock was NOT needed for this film. Should have been a non-famous mother because her role is very small.

Very good movie to watch, may be considered a chick flick, and would rent before buying.

I loved this movie! There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. I am so surprised it did not win any awards, but perhaps the country is still too sensitive to that day's happenings. The movie held my interest throughout and it made me cry. Thomas Horn gave an absolutely outstanding performance. Three thumbs UP to him and of course to Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, who with their talents make it close to impossible for either of them to make a bad movie.

this movie is so sad but it is great well told story. I bought this movie cause it hits so close to home the remberence of 9/11.

I was curious about the subject...9/11 through the eyes of a young boy who lost his father...Very well done...

Very good history movie. I bought this item because i previously saw it and loved it. Also i like Sandra Bullock The movie is very informational and there is nothing to dislike.
