Filter Queen Defender HEPA Air Purifier

The air filter is easy to operate and thus far does what it's supposed to do. I recommend that you download the owners manual (pdf) to use the programming features. It has 3 operating settings. The low setting is the quietest setting and the two higher settings are a bit too noisy if you're in the room. The noise level of the upper two settings is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I would like to be able to run it at higher settings while I'm in bed. That's where the program feature comes in handy. For example, you can keep it on low while you sleep and program it to go into medium or high while you're at work! The programming has enough flexibility to meet most schedules and you always have the ability to override the program (home sick, etc.) without having to re-program it. The filter will flash a blinking red light on the control panel at the eleven-month mark and will stay on solid red at 12 months letting you know it's time to change the filter. Very simple, low maintenance and it's a Class 2 medical device! It's not designed for whole-house filtration and is best suited for the bedroom or other similar-sized room for best results. The unit needs to be placed at least 3' from the wall to take advantage of the 360 degree filtration. Hope you found this review helpful. I bought 2 Defenders on eBay. Enjoy!

I decided to purchase the Filter Queen Defender Air Purifier because I live in the south and suffer often with allergies. when I researched the product I found that it is one of the best air cleaners on the market. When I recevied it I was even more impressed with the quality; it's quit, light weight and compact. This is a product I will certaintly order again.

I purchased this product because I already have one for many years and have been completely satisfied with its performance. It filters out particles much smaller than most air purifiers do. I have owned other purifiers which were high in price but not in function. It's a no brainer...don't waste your money on purifiers that don't work or quit working after a short amount of time. My first filter queen purifier is more than 10 years old.

A friend had a Filter Queen Defender & recommended it to us. We now have 3, one on each floor of our home. We have 2 cats & our house is very old so felt like we could use all 3. We have also bought them for others that have noticed how clean our house smells. I've never owned an air purifier so can't compare, but we are very satisfied with the Filter Queen.

I used to sell these once upon a time and I absolutely love them. The fact that it's not a HEPA filter is a huge plus since HEPA filters are actually made out of fiber glass and clog up shortly upon use.
It's also a quiet machine and you hardly know it's even there.
The biggest success story for this machine is the fact that I bought it to put in my bedroom so I'm not inhaling dust or dust mites while I sleep. I've gotten the best sleep in my life since I have been running it. I feel energized in the morning and in a good mood which helps to get motivated to start my day.
